Air
Issuing House AWB ‘As Agreed’ default setup
A frequently wished feature comes to Scope: Set-up of ‘As Agreed’ as default for House AWB is now possible. The set-up is available via Settings > Airfreight > AWB Print Configuration for AWB type ‘House’. Since ‘AWB Print Configurations’ allow specific set-ups for destination countries, it is possible to have a global default as well as deviating set-ups for destination countries where import customs does not accept ‘As Agreed’ on House AWBs.
The option to individually set/unset ‘As Agreed’ on the House AWB remains unchanged.
Decrease paper consumption for House AWB print if Master AWB is e-freight
For a specific scenario where Houses are consolidated on a Master shipment and the master is already set as EAP/EAW while the house has no e-freight classification, it is now possible to set up the AWB print configuration applying e-freight print settings on the house depending upon the e-freight status of the master.
Tracking (Templates)
Order Tracking: Feature to automatically complete a different milestone (with a given optional delay) as a triggered action upon a milestone completion.
Milestone template: Milestone template applicability now supports filtering for warehouse partner (formerly only to warehouse location)
Air Export
Inserting all HS codes from all Houses on the Master AWB
Some airlines insist in HS codes on the master AWB although the house AWBs already contain HS codes (on paper and electronically) on a more detail level. To easy up handling of such requirements, it is possible to activate an option to insert all HS Codes from all houses on the master when the master AWB is created. You are welcome to contact service to activate this parameter if applicable.
Printing performance of cargo and customs master manifests improved enormously.
Good news for consolidations with a large number of houses on master shipments. The printing of the above-mentioned manifests has been greatly accelerated. Performance gains might depend upon individual usage, but for larger master shipments we expect a reduced generation time from minutes to seconds on average.
Convert Coload-in Shipments
New option to convert Coload-In shipments into shipment type House
Back-to-Back printing
Fix an inconsistency between Back-to-Back and Master printing of Consol Manifest if security status is manually unconfirmed. The option “don't assign security status” now is available for Back-to-Back now as well
Airfreight Booking Portal
Improved handling of pending bookings with missing booking confirmation. This enhancement enables manual cancellation of bookings. There are two options:
1. "Delete the airline booking and cancel it with the airline (via the Air Freight Booking Portal)". This allows you to cancel the booking and, optionally, restock the AWB number to the pool.
2. "Delete the airline booking in Scope only". This will remove the link between the shipment and the airline booking but the actual booking with the airline will remain unchanged. The MAWB number will become editable again.
Note: Any new status updates from the airline booking will no longer be visible in Scope.
The booking portal got enhanced with a direct flights filter option plus a passage/freighter indicator column where the flight data provided by the airlines allows to determine the type of the aircraft.
Ocean
Container Tracking Event Provider switched from OI/P44 to Gatehouse.
To allow completing existing milestones in “old” tracking plans, which have Ocean Insights Event Types as triggers, Scope maps incoming generic events with sender “GATEHOUSE” to the relating Ocean Insights Event Type. This change is only needed for a transition period.
This change is also backported to Scope 25.2 and 25.0.
With the replacement of Ocean Insights by Gatehouse as event provider, existing tracking templates need to be migrated. By this change existing templates (and exception types) using Ocean Insights events as triggers (for milestones / exceptions) are updated. Relevant event types are replaced by relating generic FCL event types.
This change is also backported to Scope 25.2 and 25.0.
