Which Master Data is maintained by Riege?

Some Master Data records are provided centrally within Scope. These are managed and updated through our “Scope Data Service (SDS)”.

These are:

  • Country Codes
  • UNLocodes
  • Airlines
  • Sea Carrier
  • (Carrier) Handling Agents

If information is missing or needs to be changed, please inform us using the F12 ticket function. The Riege Service Team will review your request and ensure prompt updating.

Country Codes

In addition to the country code, this section also maintains data such as the country name and its various translations, postal code and city formats, national currency, EU membership status, tax rates, as well as details like federal states, provinces, cantons relevant to each country.

UNLocodes

UN Location Codes are managed in this section. These codes are applied across most applications to specify the place of departure and arrival. Each UN Location Code can also be designated as an airport, seaport, or rail station. Further details on this topic are available here: https://service.riege.com/en/knowledge/how-do-i-request-a-new-un-location-code-in-scope

Air-Carrier (Airlines)

Airlines and their related details, such as IATA and ICAO codes as well as prefixes, are managed in this section.

Customer-specific information such as AWB pool and account number is maintained locally within the business partner profile in the “Airline” role.

Sea-Carrier

In this section we maintain the SCA Code and carrier name. Due to the large number of sea carriers and the frequent changes, addresses of the sea carriers are not created or updated automatically.

Carrier Handling Agents

This section specifies which handling agent operates for each airline at each airport (on the import and/or export side). This information is utilized within the “Exports – Airfreight” module.

These data sets are internationally standardized. To ensure seamless data exchange with other systems, they are exclusively maintained by Riege via SDS and distributed to Scope customer systems. As a result, users are not able to add, modify, or delete these records themselves.
