How do I request a new UN Location Code in Scope?
UN Location Codes in Scope are maintained by Riege. If UN Location Codes are missing or are missing details, the Riege Service Team needs to be notified.
Check existence of UN Location Code
First check if the UNLO Code exists in Scope:
Master Data > UN Location Codes
Use the search function on the top right.
Existing UN Location Code, not in Scope
If the location you are searching for does not appear in the search results within Scope, you can visit the UN Location Code Website to verify whether the UNLO Code exists but has not yet been added to Scope.
When it exists on the UN Location Code website, you can ask us to add it in Scope.
To do this, we will need a couple of details that you can find on the UN Location Code website:
- LOCODE
- Name
-
Country
- URL of the webpage where the details can be found
- Coordinates
Please provide us with these details via https://service.riege.com/en/service_forms/scope-service-request
Existing UN Location Code, missing/incorrect details in Scope
It can occur that an existing UN Location Code is missing details, or the details need to be updated. Please let us know what needs to be updated and provide us with the details as listed above via https://service.riege.com/en/service_forms/scope-service-request
Missing UN Location Code
If the UN Location Code does not exist in Scope and you cannot find it on the UN Location Code website, you could do the following:
- You can register yourself to the Data Maintenance Request system
- This will give you the opportunity to request new UN Location Codes.
If your request is fulfilled and published on the website, you can ask us to add it in Scope.
