Scope does not start. What can I do?
If you are using a desktop shortcut to start Scope, you may need to update/reinstall the Scope Runtime to solve the problem.
This article will only help you if you are NOT using Microsoft 365 login with Scope.
- Go to https://www.riege.com/scope/download and download the Scope runtime for Windows or MacOS.
- Install the runtime.
- Contact our Support to get your individual Startlink for Scope.
- Paste this link in an internet browser - a Scope start page will open.
- Click the Start button on the page.
Next time you want to start Scope, you can use the newly created desktop shortcut.
Looking for the 32-bit version of the Scope Runtime?
You can download the last available 32-bit version from: https://getscope.riege.com/live/Scope_Runtime_windows-x32_17_14_1.exe
Please note that this version is no longer supported and will not update automatically.
We strongly recommend upgrading your PCs or operating system to a supported version and, in that process, installing the current 64-bit Scope Runtime.
