How to use the settings of the Road Carrier Role
What is the purpose and meaning of the fields in Role Road Carrier
This page will explain the option and usage of all fields in role road carrier
General
Vol Factor : Will this road carrier charge according to the normal rules or use a different volume factor
SCA Code : Has this road carrier a SCA code (SCAC) ? applicable in the USA
Portbase : Is this Road carrier used for Container transports from Dutch Ports? and can it be nominated in Cargo Controller ? If Yes, fill in the assign EAN number
Custom CMR address :
Does this carrier has an different address to be used in CMR documents ?
Check the box and add the required address, else the general address will be used
Edi Profile : Is this Road carrier connected via the Scope Transport Order Interface ?
If yes, select the applicable EDI Profile.
When an EDI Profile is selected the following options will be available :
-Set these options according the requirements / capabilities of the Road Carrier
Updates of electronic transport orders can be handled .
When Active each reprint will result in a new message to the carrier
(PDF-) Documents in electronic transport orders can be handled.
When Active, You will able to include documents (Packing-list, Release notes, CMR,......) to the transport order and they will transmitted automatically.
Road carrier needs to support at least version 1.9 of the transport order XML
Send (pdf-) Document as separate EDI-message(s).
When active, attached PDF documents will be transmitted to the road carrier as a separate message using the Scope Document Interface.
Include pdf-document of transport order in EDI message .
When active, a copy of the generated PDF transport order will also be included in the transport xml message. Road carrier needs to support at least version 1.9 of the transport order XML
Enable sending of Transport Order as email to Road Carrier
When Active, an email will be directly send after clicking print.

Omit FILAM QR Code when printing
When active , the FILAM QR will be suppressed on printed transport orders
Trucks: Add trucks if your local requirements (Air Security) need truck details.
Drivers: Add trucks if your local requirements (Air Security) need Driver details.
Products
On the tab products you can register buying products for this road carrier to define different buying tariffs.
Branch Defaults
On the tab Branch defaults you can define for which branch and transport type this carrier should be used as default transporter .
