Activation
Permissions
The feature requires module activation. Activation takes place after the service has been ordered by the Riege service team.
- A CargoAi user profile must be created in the business partner for each participating branch.
- Additional authorization is required for actual use. The search for rate offers is associated with costs and therefore the search/booking functionality can be activated for users with the following authorization:
- Air: Export Editor Actions Extras CargoAi Requests
- Create CargoAi user
A CargoAi user profile must be created in the partner for each participating office:Partner > Roles > CargoAi User
Different e-mail addresses must also be specified for different branches to which different IATA/CASS numbers are assigned!
Please ensure that the email address used is unique and not associated with any existing CargoAi account.
If (for whatever reason) the same IATA/CASS is used in different branches, the same CargoAi registration (identified via the e-mail) should also be used in the branches.
Creating a new branch generates a one-time setup fee.
Please contact sales@riege.com for more information.
Create EDI profile
For ancillary costs, CargoAi transmits codes as used by the individual airlines. These do not always correspond to the known IATA ancillary cost codes. A (possibly incomplete) list of the currently known codes can be found in the appendix and here:

Codes for ancillary costs can be mapped to Scope internal cost types via an EDI profile of type 'Cargo AI'. Such a profile should be created by the administrator and filled with the known codes for cost types.
If further previously unknown codes occur during a booking, these are stored in the EDI profile as 'missing mappings' and replaced by the additional cost item 'Miscellaneous' (according to cost element profile AWB additional costs, IATA code MC) (if possible).
