Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)

MSDS is a safety data sheet that contains product information about the potential hazards and hazard prevention measures.

An MSDS is required for all potentially hazardous products and all lithium battery shipments (whether hazardous or not). The MSDS may also be required for potentially hazardous products such as liquids, creams, and powders to prove that these products are not hazardous. Carriers may also require a MSDS for dry cell or alkaline batteries to ensure that these batteries are not lithium-based.
