How can I whitelist Scope?

To run Scope, you will need the Scope Runtime Client. Additionally, you must have the URL for the Scope live server, and if desired, the URL for the Scope test server as well.

Scope Runtime

To operate Scope, you must have the Scope Runtime installed. For detailed information regarding the network connection requirements for the Scope Runtime, please visit https://riege.github.io/scope-runtime/en/, specifically the section Network Connection.
As described in this document, the Scope Runtime requires secure HTTPS access (port 443) to https://getscope.riege.com/ to check for updates and ensure optimal performance.

URL for Scope server

Legacy login

You need access to your Scope Server. The URLs for accessing the live and test systems are determined by the specific Scope server utilized by your organization. The users will receive these URLs along with the Scope service setup process.  For assistance in obtaining the URLs for your specific Scope Server, please reach out to Riege Support. Scope communicates with these servers over a secure HTTPS connection, utilizing port 443.

Example URLs:

https://live-scope-test.riege.com/scope/ live system (different per Scope customer)

https://test-scope-test.riege.com/scope/ test system (different per Scope customer)

Login via Scope Portal Single Sign-on (SSO)

When accessing Scope via Single Sign-On (SSO) with your Microsoft Entra ID, it is essential to ensure you have HTTPS access to the Scope Portal.

We advise against whitelisting fixed IP addresses, as they are subject to change.
