Special Handling Codes
Shipment > IATA AWB editor
Click on the blue action link Edit Special Handling Codes.
Note: The Special Handling Codes EAW and EAP identify an AWB as an eAWB.
Once either of these codes has been assigned, the Shipper, Consignee, Issuing Agent, and Notify fields can no longer be edited directly in the AWB address fields. These fields are therefore displayed as read-only.
Address data can still be updated. Changes can be made either directly within the AWB on the General tab using the “Edit Address” option from the drop-down menu of the respective business partner, or through the master data in the corresponding Forwarding Customer or Agent role. The updated data will then be applied to the eAWB.
This restriction only affects the direct manual editing of address information on the “Draft & Printout” tab. For AWBs marked as eAWBs, address data cannot be edited directly in this section.
How do I add and use partner roles in Scope?
Save Special Handling Codes permanently for an airline
Master data > Partner > Roles (tab) > Airline > E-Freight (tab)
To set up the Scope automation, add the routing (EAW / EAP / Departure / Destination) at tab E-Freight. To get there, follow the steps 1 to 4.
- Go to the roles tab of a partner.
- Add new role airline (if not done already).
- In the airline role click on the E-Freight tab.
- Click the button New... on the bottom. A new window will open where you can add the details for the new e-freight template.
