How can I set up airline specific other charge codes?
AWB other charges should map to official IATA other charges codes but some airlines provide specific non-IATA charge codes
When AWB other charges are set up (see How can I manage charge types in Scope?), a IATA other charge code is required to be entered. The available codes are limited to the official IATA other charge codes. It is mandatory to assign one IATA other charge code to allow Scope to transmit the code accordingly in the electronic AWB message.
Additionally to the official IATA code list, some airline specific code are available. Airline specific charge codes are available for airline specific entries:
Airline specific code are limited to Lufthansa (020) and Latam (045) and only available when the corresponding airline has been entered in the airline specific list table.
The list of available airline specific codes can be accessed either by searching for the AWB prefix (“020” in the above screenshot) or by pressing the DOWN arrow in the field and scrolling to the end of the list of IATA other charge codes.
The Latam (045) code will be available in Scope version 25.0 early next year.
