Scope has an API connection with Cargo Controller. With Cargo Controller, for sea import shipments with port of destination NLRTM, Scope registers an MBL and then receives revised ETA messages from Portbase.
Description of how this works
Register the shipment as completely as you can in Scope. Once you have done so, you can use the blue link New Cargo Controller Subscription on TAB General of the shipment to obtain the details for the shipment from the Portbase Cargo Controller when they are available.
When details from Portbase Cargo Controller arrive, a PDF will appear on TAB Documents showing these details. Scope will update the ETA once an updated ETA is received from Portbase Cargo Controller.
Requirements to get this started
- Contract with Portbase
- Contract with Riege including Portbase Cargo Controller API

Requirements
- You already have a Portbase contract and an API connection through Scope.
- Get in contact with us via ticket/email and tell us you want to use secure chain.

Road Carrier Nomination
On a confirmed Cargo Controller subscription it is possible to directly nominate a road carrier barge operator directly from within Scope.
On Master Data > Partner you can add the Portbase EAN to a partner that has the role road carrier. This EAN will be checked/validated.
On a shipment/master, a new dialog opens to allow nominating an inland operator for each container (found in the received webhook event from portbase)
