      Authorized Economic Operator (AEO)

      Companies located in the European Union and involved in customs operations can apply for the status of Authorized Economic Operator (AEO).

      The AEO was introduced in connection with measures to improve the security of the international supply chain. A company granted AEO status benefits from security and/or trade facilitation in global customs operations.
