Scope Document Interface
The Scope Document Interface enables the import and export of documents to and from Scope.
Via the inbound interface, using EDI messages, documents can be uploaded to Scope entities such as shipments. Once successfully transferred, these documents appear in the corresponding documents tab.
The outbound interface allows documents from various modules within Scope to be transmitted via EDI messages to business partners or external systems, e.g. for archiving purposes.
A key feature is the Standard Document Archive Interface, which enables the export of selected documents, whether created within Scope or uploaded to Scope, to an external system.
For efficient indexing, all exported documents are transmitted along with their associated metadata. The available metadata varies depending on the document class. The document classes in Scope include:
- Invoice
- Shipment
- Customs
- Quotation
