How to set up VGM user mapping to use the profile username in VGM details, booking and shipping instruction messages
Go to Master Data > EDI Profiles and add a User-ID to a new or existing profile of type Ocean Carrier EDI.
- Go to Master Data > EDI Profiles.
- Add a new or open an existing EDI profile with type of interface “Ocean Carrier EDI” [1]
- Switch to the User-ID tab and click New...[2]
- Add a mapping for the specific user and set the VGM user signature as external code.
In this example, the specific user is “demouser” and the external code/ID is “MARVIN MUELLER” [3].
