House Air Waybill (HAWB)

Is issued for each individual shipment in the case of consolidated shipments by air. The respective groupage freight forwarder is responsible for this.

The house air waybill serves as proof of the conclusion of the air freight contract and the right of disposal in relation to the respective individual shipment and is the basis for the calculation of freight charges. The house air waybill is also used as an insurance certificate, document for customs declaration and confirmation of delivery at the destination airport.
