      The code number is an 11-digit customs tariff number that must be entered in an import customs declaration. It simplifies the categorization of goods and their associated tariff rates, prohibitions and restrictions, and relevant sales tax rates. For the export customs declaration, the code number consists of a maximum of eight digits.
