      ATLAS = Automatisiertes Tarif- und lokales Zollabwicklungssystem (Automated tariff and local customs clearance system)

      German implementation of the EU requirements for an electronic customs system.  Describes an IT procedure for the electronic processing of customs declarations under the responsibility of the customs administration. Includes ATLAS Export, ATLAS Import and ATLAS NCTS (Shipping) with which you transmit your customs declarations to your responsible customs office.
