Scope Demo - DE - Quick Start

Instructions for accessing the Scope Sandbox with German branches (English translation of demo for Germany!)

Welcome to the Sandbox!

You are invited to enter our Scope Sandbox, which gives you a good overview of all available modules and features in Scope and gives you the opportunity to test everything.

Scope Runtime

To run Scope on your PC, you need to install the Scope Runtime. You can download it either from the following link: https://www.riege.com/scope/download/ or from the Scope Sandbox start page. More details about the Scope Runtime can be found here: What is the Scope Runtime?

Scope Client (forwarding and customs software)

You can reach the scope sandbox via the following startup webpage URL: https://demo8.riege.com/scope/

Click on the start button, a Java applet will be automatically downloaded to your PC and additionally a shortcut will be installed on your desktop.

Here is an overview of the Scope Sandbox so that you can easily use a fully functional environment with existing master data, such as shipper, recipient, agent combinations set up with rates, etc. We ask that you do NOT delete or change any of the existing master data, but play around as much as you like. You can also add partners and use different origins and destinations for your shipments. However, please note that the output and automatic processes in Scope may differ based on your selections.

If you ever get stuck or have a question, please don't hesitate to press the "F12" function key in Scope to create a support ticket and tell us about the problem, so our service team can help you right away.

Where am I?

You work for a fictitious company, Scope Cargo. Scope handles sea freight in Hamburg (HAM) and air freight in the office in Frankfurt (FRA).

Existing data

You can open all existing orders, such as shipments, quotes, and invoices.

Create your own shipments

With the shippers, consignees, origins and destinations suggested here, shipment processing, milestone processing, automatic billing and cost calculation work seamlessly, giving you a realistic overview of the scope in a live environment with existing data. As mentioned earlier, you can also enter new partners and other destinations as you see fit. Please note:

• If you add a trucking company (road) as a business partner, this partner needs the role "Trucking company" in the business partner management
• If you add a line agent or co-loader as a business partner, this partner needs the role "line agent" and can be linked to the corresponding carrier in the partner management
• If you add an overseas agent as a business partner, this partner needs the role "Agent" and can be linked to the corresponding port (UN/LOCODE) via partner maintenance.

Ocean (HAM Branch - Hamburg)

Please register at the "Hamburg" branch.
Use Ocean Carrier: HLCU - Hapag-Lloyd AG

To create transport orders for pickups or deliveries, use the trucking company with the partner code: TRUHAM - Trucker Hamburg Container GmbH.
