How do I successfully connect a shipment to Project44/OceanInsights?
A successful connection of a shipment with P44/OI follows the entry of correct data in Scope.
A shipment will be successfully connected to P44/OI when the following information is entered in Scope:
- Container
Make sure that you have a container. LCL shipments cannot be connected. - Ocean Carrier field
The correct SCAC code needs to be mentioned,
(P44/OI only supports a explicit list of carriers. Not all carriers) - Booking reference
Make sure you add the correct booking reference. In case you don't have a reference, do not fill the field with just any value, but leave it empty. Wrong values lead to confusion and errors. - Ocean Bill of Lading number
Always start with the SCAC code of the carrier.
Once the information provided above is accurately entered, you will be ready to effectively track and manage your containers in Scope.
