C13 Customs Interface outgoing (Scope to External system)

This feature places XML files (Riege XML format) delivered to an FTP server for use in another system for doing Customs declarations.

With this functionality, Scope prepares a file with shipment data from the shipment, ready for an external declaration package/party that handles the declaration. In the external system, the declaration can be completed and submitted.

The status, VAT amounts upon import, and import duties are returned by the external system to Scope and processed in the respective shipment for invoicing purposes in Scope.

We support  Import,  Export, and DVA/NCTS in this interface.

These are the details relevant for creating and completing a declaration in the external package. You cannot create a 100% Belgian declaration in Scope. You would do that in WINSAD. In doing so, you don't need to enter the shipper, consignee, origin, destination, vessel name, voyage number, etc. there. This saves you from doing the work twice.
