S15 - Accounting Interface
The Accounting interface connects Scope with an external accounting system to automatically exchange financial data, such as debtors, creditors, and bookings.
The Accounting Interface is the interface between Scope and an external accounting package (based on one of our standard interfaces). The Accounting interface connects Scope with an external accounting system, using one of our standard interface options.
The Accounting interface covers the transfer of data from Scope to the accounting package, including debtors, creditors, sales bookings, general ledger entries, and purchase invoices. Additionally, it allows importing outstanding items from the accounting package back into Scope, provided they are supplied in the standard Scope format.
The interface can be started manually within Scope or configured by us as a batch job. In both cases, Scope generates the files, which then need to be imported into the accounting package. The Scope job can be automated to generate and email these files to a designated address at fixed times during the day. Importing the files into the accounting package has to be handled by the user within the accounting package.
